Compre, the international specialist legacy group, today announces the appointment of David Presley to the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer, North America. Presley, who will also join Compre’s executive committee, will join Compre at the end of April and be based in Kansas City, Missouri reporting to Group Chief Executive Officer, Will Bridger.
With responsibility for Compre’s business development activities in North America, Presley will work closely with the existing team including those that joined Compre from SiriusPoint Global Solutions to drive transaction growth. He will also assume operational leadership of business in the region as Compre continues to build its North American platform.
With almost 20 years of legacy-market experience, Presley joins Compre from Swiss Re America, where, as vice president and senior legacy origination manager, he was responsible for the origination of all US legacy deals. Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2019, Presley spent eight years at Enstar US as a vice president and commutations manager. He began his career as an attorney in 2003 at The Bazil Group.
